I think the old terror movie was better
than now. In this day the movies have an excellent graphic and
special effect, but the directors seem to have been forget all about
trama.
Maybe I didn´t live in The Exorsist
time, but I know that kind of films and I believe that movies made
screem to people.
The oldest film had a pshycological
terror, i mean, the movie is not scared only because the character
heard weird noises or there is a monster or a witch, it´s because
there is a mistery, an uncommon thing that make you afraid for your
life and for that the people you care about and you love. This
is,
however,
only
the bigning, to other hand, there is the performance that in this
days it's really bad, now the films focus in the action, in the
blood, in special effect, but totally forget about character feeling.
I
miss movies like The
Shining, Infernal Possesion, Friday the 13th, maybe the action is not
the best, but thats movies innovating in the scene of terror on the
cine and made us jump out of us seats.
